Tremont Hotel/Camp Tremont History in y=Years

Lets learn  the history of this odd hotel.

1930:  In the year of 1930 a family lived on a farm together. The son’s name was Sam Tremont, he wanted to be an inventor when he grew up. He had a sister named Daisy Tremont, that was going tind the farm, while her brother time traveled to different times. Their father Mr. Tremont every single day just sat in the same rocking chair and only left it on important matters or to eat with his family. Mr. Tremont’s wife Grace Tremont died when her children were very young. One day Mr. Tremont signed a piece of paper that would let him and his family live and stay in their home but Judge Walker would get to keep the springs and the farmland. Then soon after the sheriff came and said that the family had forty eight hours to pack up and leave the property or something terrible would happen. One of Judge Walker’s friends actually had the real document that the family signed. The men tricked the family with the fake document and the family left to live in a small house in the swamp.

1947: Three years after the Tremont Hotel opened to the public Daisy Tremont was working there as a maid with the help of her daughter Ruby. The judge had turned that family’s farm home into a hotel. Daisy was working there because she always felt her mother’s presence around her like a snug warm coat. Ruby knew that the judge was up to something but she didn’t know what. Then she found out that the judge had stolen a bunch of money and had hid it downstairs in the basement. The money that he stole was what the sheriff was looking for. The sheriff is a very good friend of the judge. Ruby had a whole speech for the judge. The judge was just about to do something horrible to her but instead a vas shattered on top of the judge. Ruby ran outside of room 205 to tell her mother what had happened. The judge was killed by his own wife Mrs. Walker. But she didn’t pick up the vas and smash it on her husband’s head, she said that it just appeared in her hand and Daisy believed that it was her mother’s spirit saving her granddaughter’s life.

1990: In the summer of 1990 three campers named Savanna Dillon, Benet, but he goes by Ben Campbell, and Jess Dunn were all friends, well not all were friends. Jess hated Savanna. Jess really liked Ben but she thought that Savanna was always in the way. Jess acts like she’s the queen of the camp. One night after the dance and camp fire that would end the summer of the camp Jess dared Savanna to sleep in the basement with the ghosts. Ben, her best friend, told her not to listen to Jess, but Savanna did it anyway. Ben then found her in the basement and they shared ghost stories until they heard a noise. Ben ran thinking that Savanna had followed him but she didn’t, she stayed. The  next morning the campers, junior counselors, staff, and police started search parties for her. When they couldn’t find her they all came up with the conclusion that she was eaten by Moss Man, a legend.

1960: There was a terrible storm called the Great Storm of 1960 in Louisiana. Some people left and went somewhere else and others stayed. And one of the people that stayed at the Tremont hotel was Savanna! Apparently she traveled from 1990 to 1960. How did she time travel? Well after Ben ran off Savanna went over to one of the shelves and saw a door to a hidden bunker. She went down a long tunnel and ended up in a small room. There was a radio in that room and she turned one of the nobbs. She went down another tunnel and found stairs at the end. She opened the hatch and felt a shock as she was climbing out. Then she ran towards the hotel and has been in the 1960’s ever since.

1962: Two years after the storm there was a newspaper about the family that lived and worked at the hotel with Savanna in it. Savanna was adopted. As the year went by, Savanna started leaving the year of 1962 to time travel to 2020, 1947, 1930, and 2024 because she was helping some friends out. Her friends’ names are Griffin and Harper but soon later she became friends with Griffin’s siblings Zoaie and Wyatt and Harper’s sibling Toafer. They had some crazy adventures.

2024: In the future the hotel was going to burn down starting with room 205, Griffin’s mother will be a ghost, Griffin and Harper wouldn’t be friends anymore, Toafer would have died, the two families would be divided, Griffin would never be able to attend school, and everyone would blame Griffin for everything. But then that future changed a little bit though. Griffin’s mom would still be a ghost, Toafer would be alive, the families wouldn’t be apart, but Griffin would have died. Then all that changed again. Everyone would be alive, everyone would be friends, Griffin would still be working and studying at school, and Griffin and Harper would be boyfriend and girlfriend.

How I found this information, these photos, and more about these people: Now I know all of this information from a tv show not the internet. I know it sounds crazy, a show that is true. We all know that ghosts aren’t real but it’s probably possible. I mean there are people trying to create flying cars. But I tried to figure out if these people are real or if they are not. I used this app called Google Earth and tried to figure out if the Tremont really exists and apparently it does. The Tremont is in Louisiana. I don’t know who the owner (s) is/are. I wish that I could go to Louisiana. I also found these photos on Google Earth. Savanna is adventurous and a prankster. Ben is also a prankster and loves to play on his guitar. Jess likes to look fancy and probably wants to be queen of the world one day. Griffin also plays the guitar and hates Louisiana. Harper has the love of art and adventure. Toafer likes to watch ‘scary movies’ and is amazing at creating traps. Zoaie and Wyatt are twins and get along just fine, but sometimes they fight. Sara, Griffin and the twins’ mother likes to be organized and also hates Louisiana. Ben’s dad likes work and when his son doesn’t make a mistake. Harper and Toafer’s father died when Toafer was three and Harper was four.

Why the hotel closed: Soon after Savanna ‘disappeared’ the reason why the hotel is so popular, famous springs dried up. No one wanted to go back to a hotel where there were no springs to play in. No one has been there in years. The house had wood on top of the windows, the wood looked nasty and rotten, and the building could possibly be haunted by ghosts. And there probably were ghosts haunting that hotel. And if there were I’m guessing their names are Grace Tremont and Judge Walker.  And now the hotel looks like this:
